One of a kind decoupage candle smokestack set.
Single candleholder stack made from olde reclaimed pine floor joists collected from 19th century houses in Philadelphia and finished with original cut outs from old botanical manuscripts, turn of the century title deeds and medical journals.
As the cut outs are randomly sourced, each set is unique and cannot be replicated exactly. These particular blocks are wonderfully reddish. Please note that each image is taken from an original discarded book or journal and is a one of a kind.
Finished with natural tung oil.
Includes 2-3 hand poured pure beeswax tea light candles.
Please note, due to the nature of the materials used, the product you receive may have a different image than the one shown and the finish will vary from item to item.
You can email us if you want a particular style of image e.g. botanical, medical or literature (if available).
Each block is 4 in x 2 in x 2 in
Comes with a letterpress card that describes the materials used.
About Peg & Awl
A husband and wife team that live and work in Philadelphia, Penna.
Our work is made from olde things, treasures found and recovered from misfortune and neglect, relics of the unusual, the confused and the macabre, cut and pulled and built into wearable curiosities, inscribable keepsakes and useable, longlasting treasures. We used to make them for ourselves and now we make them for everyone.
